100vw, 180px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Un <strong>VOR<\/strong> (<em>VHF Omnidirectional Range<\/em>) est une balise radio de navigation a\u00e9ronautique qui permet \u00e0 un pilote de conna\u00eetre <strong>sa position radiale<\/strong> par rapport \u00e0 la station et donc de suivre un cap pr\u00e9cis vers ou depuis cette station.<br>C\u2019est l\u2019un des moyens de navigation classiques les plus utilis\u00e9s avant l\u2019\u00e8re GPS \u2014 et encore aujourd\u2019hui en secours ou compl\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Principe g\u00e9n\u00e9ral<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Un VOR au sol \u00e9met <strong>deux signaux VHF<\/strong> (108.00 \u00e0 117.95 MHz) :\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Signal de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence<\/strong> : identique dans toutes les directions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Signal variable<\/strong> : sa phase change en fonction de l\u2019angle (azimut) par rapport \u00e0 la station.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019avion re\u00e7oit les deux signaux en m\u00eame temps.<br>En comparant la <strong>diff\u00e9rence de phase<\/strong> entre eux, l\u2019\u00e9quipement de bord d\u00e9termine <strong>l\u2019angle<\/strong> (radiale) entre l\u2019avion et le VOR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Radiales<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Une <strong>radiale<\/strong> est la ligne qui part de la station vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, exprim\u00e9e en degr\u00e9s magn\u00e9tiques (0\u00b0 = nord, 90\u00b0 = est, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exemple : \u00eatre \u00ab sur la radiale 090 \u00bb signifie \u00eatre <strong>\u00e0 l\u2019est de la station<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La radiale ne dit pas si vous allez <strong>vers<\/strong> ou <strong>depuis<\/strong> la station \u2192 c\u2019est le r\u00f4le de l\u2019indication <em>TO\/FROM<\/em> sur l\u2019instrument.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>\u00c9quipement \u00e0 bord<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le VOR se lit sur :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CDI<\/strong> (<em>Course Deviation Indicator<\/em>) : aiguille qui indique le d\u00e9calage par rapport \u00e0 la route choisie.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HSI<\/strong> (<em>Horizontal Situation Indicator<\/em>) : repr\u00e9sentation plus intuitive, souvent combin\u00e9e avec le compas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S\u00e9lecteur de fr\u00e9quence VOR (NAV 1 \/ NAV 2).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Types de VOR<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>VOR conventionnel (CVOR)<\/strong> : utilise l\u2019effet Doppler de rotation d\u2019antenne \u00e9lectronique pour cr\u00e9er le signal variable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D-VOR (Doppler VOR)<\/strong> : inverse le principe (le signal de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence est omnidirectionnel et le signal variable simul\u00e9 par d\u00e9phasage Doppler), plus pr\u00e9cis et moins sensible aux reliefs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>Avantages et limites<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Pr\u00e9cision<\/strong> : \u00b11 \u00e0 interf\u00e9rences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 <strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 visuel<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Imagine que le VOR au sol envoie un \u201cbip de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence\u201d et un \u201cbip orient\u00e9\u201d \u2192 l\u2019avion compare l\u2019\u00e9cart entre les deux et en d\u00e9duit sur quelle \u201cpart\u201d de la rose des vents il se trouve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En r\u00e9glant la radiale sur l\u2019instrument, on sait si on doit virer \u00e0 gauche ou \u00e0
